RCT can be finished in one sitting in cases of acute infection without pus buildup in or around the tooth. An X-ray is the most important diagnostic tool in this instance. When pus builds up around the root tip of the affected tooth, the X-ray typically shows this by showing a change in radiolucency. To gain access to the canals, the pulp chamber must first be opened. Once they are open, special tools called files are used to remove the contaminated nerves. There is an antiseptic solution circulated through the canals. There may occasionally be a clear pus discharge coming out of the canals accompanied with an unpleasant smell. We should work through this. To liberate the root canals, they undergo additional cleaning and shaping.
